As an end-of-life care practitioner, I walk alongside individuals, families, and their circles of care to navigate the emotional, spiritual, and practical terrain of dying.
Whether you are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, or supporting someone who is, you don’t have to face this transition alone. Together, we can explore your wishes, initiate legacy projects, and create space for the conversations that matter most.
My role is to ease overwhelm, offer grounded guidance, and honour each person’s unique journey. For loved ones and caregivers, I provide compassionate support, practical tools, and a calm, steady presence in the midst of anticipatory grief. This is sacred work—and you are held every step of the way.

To ensure accessibility and fairness, fees for Call of the Kookaburra services are determined using a sliding scale based on your financial circumstances.

After death care and natural burial support
My support is personalised and flexible, tailored to your individual needs and wishes.
Depending on what you require, support may include:
- Guidance and support for preparing a natural burial at home or in a private residence, including the use of body cooling techniques and natural materials.
- Help with necessary paperwork and administration
- Sourcing of biodegradable burial options
- Celebrant and funeral planning services
- Assistance with arranging the transfer of your person.

Ongoing standard hourly rate for in person and remote* $90
Vigil ** Support- hourly rate between 7am-8pm $90
Vigil Support – hourly rate between 8pm-7am $110
* Remote support covers administrative tasks and other services provided off-site.
** Vigil support offers bedside presence during the final days or hours of life, ensuring the person is never alone.
Top Tier Sliding Scale Criteria
– Comfortably able to meet all basic* needs
– May have some debt, but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs
– Owns home/property or rents a higher-end property
– Owns or leases a car
– Employed or does not need to work to meet needs
– Regular access to health care
– Access to financial savings
– Has expendable** income
– Can always buy new items
– Can afford an annual holiday or take time off
*Basic needs include housing, food, utilities, and healthcare.
**Expendable income refers to money left over after paying for basic needs, which can be spent on non-essential items or experiences. E.g., you are able to buy coffee or tea at a shop, go to the movies or a concert, buy new clothes, books, and similar items each month, etc.

There are a limited number of slots for services offered at the middle and lower tiers. Please be mindful that if you purchase a service at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher ticket prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility. It also respects the work of service providers, like me, who have business overheads, families to support and rent to pay.

– Can take a holiday annually or every few years without financial burden

– Unemployed or underemployed
– Qualifies for government assistance (e.g., Centrelink)
– No access to savings
